Fucking politicians!

http://menteinsomne.wordpress.com/2013/11/05/erasmus-orgasmus-tumbando-mitos/

It's not about the money, it's about the right, because one is honest and the politician lies and they beat us.
I have to say that this entry is inspired in my last status update in Facebook, but I take the advantage that here I translate everything for those who don't know Spanish (and maybe read me) know what is happening in the infamous country which I'm not proud of at all. (Canary independence now! I want to be Canary and not Spanish, with my Canary passport <3). Anyway, personal opinions aside, I don't pretend to start discussions with anybody about the Canary independence or not, anyway, personal opinions aside, I don't pretend to start a discussion with anybody about independance or not, each one on its way.
What I want to do is to share an entry I found, demystifying the Erasmus scholarship and as I am an Erasmus student, I confirm it!
And, why my annoyance? Because our "education" minister (he's a joke!) pretended to take the money we were promised, I repeat, PROMISED (promised also in a burocratic way, and the burocracy is the important thing for them, and here, next to me, I have my credentials) and at the end this year Eramus students can keep the money, but next year we are over those scholarships! I'm so sorry that people next year won't be able to afford going abroad with an Erasmus scholarship, anyway, I suppor them in protests and so on (obviously, when I'm back to Spain) because, as a person living this experience, is something that I absolutely recommend. I have to say that some things are really difficult and sometimes I've been close to a nervous crisis, but the good things compensate, and what you learn makes it a worthy experience.
Back to my point, facing the complains of some people about our scholarship (and yes, students like us) saying that we are in a non stop party with their taxes (absolutely false), a girl wrote this entry that I recommend to read (in Spanish, but whoever wanting it, can ask for a translation, the girl is in Ireland and I think she could do it, if she doesn't have time or whatever, ask me :D).

http://menteinsomne.wordpress.com/2013/11/05/erasmus-orgasmus-tumbando-mitos/

In my case, everyday I have to do to the lessons because we have to sign, and if you are absent more than three times you loose the right to take your exam, also, here the cheapest beer is €6 a liter (yes, in alcohol shops, they don't sell alcohol in supermarkets, those shops are the cheapest place, neither you can buy alcohol after 10 p.m.) so you can imagine how often and much I get drunk... Never! I only drink a liter per week to taste it and spend my time drinking coffee and tea. And also with Erasmus we learn a lot and we grow! It's a matter of culture, not money!
So those that say that Erasmus is Orgasmus are wrong (I wish I had a lot of non stop party and a lot of orgams, but babies, this is real life!). Even those who think that in Poland you live the Orgasmus because of the cheap beer, I have to mention a friend that was there last year and at the beginning it was non stop party but at the end he had to study hard as every student must do to pass the exams.
Also, in my case, I'm not angry because of the money (I didn't count on the few money that they were going to give me, it doesn't even pay the rent) and I'm lucky (and conscious that I am) that my parents can afford the fact that I'm here (and, for the record, I respect them so I don't waste my time hanging out all day long), but I'm angry because they take the money of some people that I know and really need it, also I'm angry because it's a promise (and I repeat again, burocratic promise!) that has been broken, like all the promises from our fucking politicians.

Litrito callejera, Litrito in da street.

Well, I have no more ideas for you, because I've seen so many things that now I don't suffer cultural shock (yesterday I saw in the comercial street, where everybody wears fashion until death, an African wearing a colorful African robe and I saw it as a normal thing... although after a while I realized that I should have been surprised but I'm so cosmopolitan, and cool), I bring for you three street facts that I lived in my skin lately:

  • I'm convinced that I have a twin girl in Turkey, and also she must be friendly like me, because yesterday having a walk in the street more than two people said hello to me, like if the know me since I'm a baby, but I didn't even recognize them. I think that the poor girl is going to have a few words with her friend because me, a bit scared, I didn't say hi and go so quick like if I was scaping from a rapist.
  • Lately I don't know if I'm obssesed with Spanish or that I'm beginning to understand Turkish, because sometimes people (Turkish) speak in the street and my brain processes it as Spanish, or maybe I'm starting to be crazy, which is also probably. For example, yesterday I passed in front of a gate where a drunk local person was sitted and his beer had fallen down to the floor and I heard that man saying: NO PISE, NO PISE (in Spanish that means, don't set foot there!). Look, I don't know if he said that or what he said, but my brain processed it that way and I didn't step on that mess. Whatever, Litrito saved from beer! (what an irony, ah).
  • Now I'm an entire citizen, yeah, in a month I'm feeling brave enough to take naps in the bus, which is very typical here, because if you are trapped in a traffic jam it takes you two hourse for a 12 kms. way (the same as if you go walking, but the nap in the bus with the heater is more pleasant). I've said that here there are many traffic jams and nothin better to cope with them than become friend with the person sitting next to you and help each other to take the nap. Becoming friend with that person has it reason in don't leting your head fall down. By the way, I have to tell you that the other day in a bus it stalled, has anyone seen a bus stalling? It's quite abrupt and strange, that has never happened to me before.
And this is all for now, big kiss sons from my heart.

Asia

Friends, now I can say that I've walked my ass in three continents, actually is the second time I go to the Asian side but today I bring a graphic testimony, this is the city where I live :)

Centros comerciales, shopping centers

In my tedium and moved by my sociological curiosity (I swear I didn't do any compulsive purchase!), I've had some walks in several shopping centers here, I know they are the same in all around the world, to prove: children's section is always on the lowest floor and restaurants in the highest, in the middle shops and cinema, if there is a cinema. This never fails. But I found a difference, at least in comparison with shopping centers in Spain and England (they are the only ones I remember when I visited), there is no stock! Ok, there is, you go to the shops and see things, but it's only superficial; if you compare what you see in Turkish websites (thanks that I got some vocabulary :) ) and what you see in shops, then you find only aprox. 60% of the things you saw on the internet, and if you are lucky and the dependant speaks English and you tell him to ask for an X product for them to bring it to the shop, they look at you as if you were mad, and I swear I've done that in Spain with no problems, in the end they miss that chance...
But all of this makes me remeber the sentence that a classmate said the other day: Turkish people try to emulate an european glorious past which they didn't have. When I first came here I thought: oh, this is all the same than in Europe, but digging a little in things you begin to see differences. I don't say this is good or bad, it simply is; but I think they should look for a future instead of trying to emulate something, they should do their own history, although it's a future history.
Falafel kiss.

Aerobic!

Mi primera "experiencia" aeróbica, allá por el 2011
My first aerobics 'experience', in 2011

As I've informed everybody (actually I have to say that I was excited), I've taken three sport courses: Step, Aerobic and Latin-aero, I was more excited about the Latin one but I missed it thanks to the super super efficiency of this University (irony), because they changed the hour and they didn't let me know :( I call that earning the salary in the Spanish politician way...
Anyway, I took my first classes of Step and Aerobic and the fact is that I liked them and they were quite funny. But realizing that I'm absolutely not able to coordinate arms and legs at the same time and that I still confuse left and right is a little bit sad. Also, I have stiffness with the same size than my cellulitis and the teacher told me not use my arms yet, 'cause I was confusing them.
Despite all the bad things, I liked the experience, who knows? maybe I'll even go to the gym when I'm back to Spain (people who know me may know that I never in my lifetime would think about going to the gym but here I am).
Sweated kisses dears.

WC

Vale, no me maten :)
 Chorro limpia-culos, ass cleaning squirt
This is different from Spain: here there aren't 3 padlocks protecting each toilet paper roll, they aren't as mean as us :)

My sons, I know that sometimes I make you sick, but if you know, you should know that I have no hair in my tongue or censorship, or nothing at all. So today I took two pictures from my faculty's toilet to give them to you as a gift, awwwww I'm so generous that I'm giving gifts in my birthday instead of receiving them.
Please, don't kill me :)

Mi cumple, My birthday

It's a new dawn, it's my birthday, now I'm 22, but the birthday, I mean, the day, had been awful and it's a pitty 'cause 22 is my favourite number. As I like lists, I have to be short and schematic even telling my life, so pathetic, I'm going to write two lists, one with the good things today and one with the bad things today.
Good things:

  • I was said to be beatiful, smiling and all that (although those words were virtual) so many times that now I'm starting to believe it, thank you everybody to make me feel a beautiful human being.
  • My family, although they are far far away made me feel a little better, it's like they support me even when I can't give or do anymore.
Bad things:

  • The day is a fucking rainy day.
  • My feet are sooo freezen.
  • I haven't eaten even a small piece of chocolate to make me feel happier 'cause at the end everything was a big shit and I just wanted to come back to my house-war trench and eat bread with butter.
  • The only I've done today is going to my lessons and as soon as I get bored of the internet, my plan is do the reading and other study stuff.
  • I can't go out 'cause tomorrow I have to go to a museum in Mordor to do a fast essay that I have to give the teacher at 1 p.m., I wish I had that Hermione's magic machine to be everywhere at the same time.
  • I almost had a breakdown for several reasons like stress of burocratics + classes + fucking teachers that think that you know everything in this country, and NO, I'm taking courses where they accept Erasmus so they should know that we don't know everything.
  • They sent me an e-mail clarifying some doubts, I don't feel like explaining all of it but the fact is that I'm going back to Spain in February instead of June and next semester seems to be full of credits.
Taking a look at my lists' points, this has been a bad day, I hope the rest of the year will be better, actually I'll be better anyway, I couldn't be worse right now.
